Standing Desk Height Range Index

This dataset compares published fit constraints across current standing desks using manufacturer sources reviewed September 19, 2026. The goal is compatibility—not a subjective ranking.

Important: manufacturers do not all measure height the same way. Some ranges include the desktop; others are frame-only or use glides. The height basis column preserves that distinction so the numbers are not silently mixed.

9 current models

Each row links to a manufacturer source and records the measurement basis.

Median minimum

25.0 in

Descriptive only; do not compare against your elbow height until you check whether the row is frame-only or finished height.

Median maximum

49.2 in

Useful as a range check, not a guarantee that a desk will fit a specific standing posture.

What the data shows

The lowest published minimum in this launch dataset is Ergonofis Sway Standing Desk at 22.0 inches on its stated measurement basis. The broadest published height travel in this dataset is Ergonofis Sway Standing Desk at 26.3 inches.

Those observations are not “best desk” awards. A low minimum can help shorter seated users, while capacity, desktop size, stability, warranty and monitor-arm loading can matter more for another setup.

Methodology

DeskVerdicts uses current manufacturer product pages, manuals or specification sheets. We record the published figure and its basis rather than normalizing numbers that are not directly comparable. We do not claim hands-on testing for this dataset. If a manufacturer changes a range, capacity or warranty, the row should be updated rather than averaged with historical values.
