Sunaofe Morph vs COLAMY ATLAS: Ergonomic Office Chair Comparison
Sunaofe Morph Classic and COLAMY ATLAS sit at different price points but overlap on the features that matter for long desk sessions. Morph emphasizes auto-tracking lumbar support, seven-way armrests and a published 18–21.8 inch seat-height range; ATLAS emphasizes seat-depth adjustment, 4D arms, a foam seat and four defined recline locks.

Start with the adjustment you cannot add later
Morph publishes a 3.8-inch seat-height span from 18 to 21.8 inches plus a seven-position backrest-height adjustment across about 2 inches. ATLAS publishes 4.3 inches of seat-height adjustment and 2 inches of seat-depth adjustment, but its text specification does not state the absolute seat-height endpoints. If seat depth is a known fit problem, ATLAS has an explicit adjustment the Morph page does not list.
The lumbar systems use different ideas
Sunaofe describes Morph as an auto-tracking lumbar system with up to 3.5 inches of front-to-back travel plus a seven-step pressure dial. COLAMY lists adjustable lumbar support but does not describe the same tracking mechanism. A more elaborate lumbar mechanism is not automatically better; its useful range still has to align with your torso and preferred recline.
Armrest adjustability favors different workflows
Morph markets seven-way armrests that can move vertically, fore-aft and side-to-side and can flip up. ATLAS lists 4D armrests. Flip-up capability can be useful when a chair needs to tuck under a desk or when armrests interfere with instrument or drawing work, while standard 4D adjustment may be enough for conventional keyboard use.
Recline range is close, but the controls differ
Morph reclines up to 140 degrees with five lock positions and automatic tension behavior. ATLAS lists four lock positions at 107, 115, 123 and 132 degrees. Buyers who regularly switch between upright typing and deeper recline should compare the actual lock positions rather than just the maximum angle.
Price, trial and warranty create a meaningful ownership difference
At the September 24, 2026 source check, Morph Classic was listed at $449.99 and ATLAS at $299.99 before any additional coupon changes. Sunaofe publishes a 60-day home trial and five-year chair warranty; COLAMY publishes a 30-day return window and three-year warranty. Those policies can matter more than one extra adjustment if you are uncertain about fit.
Decision framework
Choose from fit constraints rather than assuming the more expensive chair is universally better. Morph is the more feature-dense published specification if you value auto-tracking lumbar, extensive arm movement and a documented absolute seat-height range. ATLAS is the lower-priced route with seat-depth adjustment, 4D arms, adjustable lumbar and a defined four-position recline system. Measure the desk, preferred seat height and thigh length before deciding.
How we use specifications
DeskVerdicts records published dimensions and limits as constraints, not quality scores. A higher load rating, wider height range or longer warranty can be useful, but the best fit depends on the equipment, room and user measurements involved.
